A Grounded Healing Philosophy
Satori’s work is built on the understanding that tradition and science are complementary, not opposing.
Our Core Commitments
01.
Respect For Tradition
There is no Bwiti outside of Gabon. Bwiti is a living spiritual tradition and a national cultural heritage of Gabon. Satori honors Missoko Bwiti teachings and the elders who safeguard this medicine.
02.
Medical Stewardship
All guests complete thorough screening, including ECG review. Qualified medical professionals oversee safety protocols and remain available throughout ceremony.
03.
Whole-Person Care
Iboga is approached as more than a single experience. The intention is to support harmony across physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions.
04.
Ethical Sourcing & Ecology
All medicine is traceable, sustainably harvested, and responsibly sourced with respect for land, lineage, and community.

Lineage & Ceremony
Satori maintains an active relationship with the Missoko Bwiti lineage.
Facilitators have trained and been initiated under Bwiti elders and work with humility, discipline, and respect for Bwiti protocols.
Ceremonies are adapted for Western participants while remaining aligned with the spirit, structure, and ethical foundations of Bwiti practice.

Location & Setting
Retreats take place in natural sanctuaries selected for their ability to support deep inner work.
In Canada, the retreat center is located near Victoria, British Columbia, surrounded by forests, mountains, and coastal air — creating an environment of spaciousness, grounding, and reflection.
